Data management at its best

"Entrepreneurs are idea machines... but sometimes too many good ideas can clutter the picture and stop progress."  This statement, by Marla Tabaka of Inc.com, truly resonated with me.

Last year we introduced a good grant writing idea (click here to view our grant report for the childcare industry) but this year we are making the tough decision to phase out the service.  Our research has found that grants to for-profit businesses are pretty much nonexistent, especially during these difficult economic times.

As we say farewell to grant writing we want to thank all the companies that showed interest in our service and to the Foundation Center for their phenomenal leads.

In the end we like to think positively on this experience.  Perhaps today is the day that an aspiring entrepreneur reads our sample report and is motivated to take the need for grant writing from where we are leaving it to leap into their very own grant writing business.
