We were recently asked to help in an effort to identify strong candidates for the Strategic Data Fellowship (The Strategic Data Project is based out of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University.).  SDP is currently recruiting Fellows to serve in agencies in the following areas:  New York State Education Department (NYC and Albany);  Elizabeth, NJ; Wake County Public Schools-North Carolina;  Kentucky DOE; Colorado DOE; Baltimore County; Los Angeles USD; The College Ready Promise –an LA-based CMO; and Springfield Public Schools in western Massachusetts. The deadline to receive applications is October 11, 2011. Fellows will be selected by November 2011 with anticipated start dates in partner agencies no later than January 2012.

 

Fellows come from diverse professional backgrounds but share a commitment to making a difference in the lives of students across the country.  We seek candidates who possess: 1) an advanced degree (Master’s level or higher); 2) a strong background in quantitative analysis; 3) at least four years of work experience, including a successful track record of managing projects and change initiatives; and 4) demonstrated passion for education reform.     Annual compensation is 80-90k.
